Topic: Conflict for IT Humans
Conflict is inevitable. The question isn’t if you’ll face conflict, its when. In this session, we’ll translate proven conflict frameworks into everyday situations: major incidents at 2 a.m., tense change approvals, “the network vs. the app,” and escalations from executives. You’ll learn how to diagnose the type of conflict you’re in (task, process, relationship), choose a response that fits your goals and constraints, and coach your teams to de-escalate without losing momentum. We’ll touch on war rooms and 1:1s, design guardrails that prevent repeat blow-ups, and connect the dots to ITIL practices, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement. Walk out with ready-to-use templates, playbook snippets, and coaching prompts to keep people calm, services stable, and customers confident.

Topic: Asset Management: The Most Important Process
Asset management can be one of the best places to reduce spending and recover value, but because it isn't considered 'sexy,' we often neglect it or relegate it to procurement. However, the success of your future AI initiative depends greatly on the accuracy of both your knowledge base and your Assets Management Database repository. Let’s expose the value of investing in Asset Management now by exploring how companies use it to comply, optimize and automate.
